This hour-long, fully resourced PSHE lesson is suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3 all about personal safety and what we need to do to keep safe in the wider world and unfamiliar environments. This includes fireworks, road safety, near railway-lines, open waters, bridges, using electronic devices out and about and more. This detailed 21 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020/24 Statutory Guidance and focuses on online safety including online predators and protecting ourselves including our data and personal information online. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.
